The coordinator, Luisa Herrera Sierra, founded this business area with the firm commitment of encouraging and promoting entrepreneurship and technological progress in Colombia by means of legal counseling and assistance. This service area is specifically devoted to the protection of intangibles, contract managing and defense in legal proceedings.

Intellectual Property Coordinator
Professional Expertise : Obtained her law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia. Has a Masters Degree on Intellectual Property Right (LLM) from the Queen Mary University of London. She published several articles and co-authored the book “Patent Law”. Dr. Herrera has ample experience in several areas of law, such as: Intellectual Property, Entertainment and Unfair Competition Law as well as in Anticompetitive Practices, Restrictive Trade Policies, Commercial Law and Insurance Law.
Since 2013 she has been a professor of subjects related to Contract Law and Intellectual Property.
Her current role is as a research professor of the Intellectual Property Department of the Universidad Externado de Colombia and as the Coordinator of the Intellectual Property Department of this firm.
